The Strategy and Growth team has an opportunity for a Corporate Development Manager in Manchester.
About the Opportunity
The Corporate Development Manager is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic growth opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other corporate transactions. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership and various departments to drive the company's growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Opportunity Identification: Identify and evaluate potential growth opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic investments.
* Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential targets, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
* Transaction Execution: Lead the execution of corporate transactions, including negotiations, deal structuring, and integration planning.
* Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of corporate development initiatives.
* Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support valuation and decision-making processes.
* Post-Merger Integration: Support post-merger integration efforts to ensure seamless transition and realization of synergies.
Who we are looking for:
Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred combined with proven experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or related roles.
Skills:
* Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Proven project management capabilities.
* Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
* Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other corporate transactions.
