A sector leading global engineering group supplying precision components and engineered solutions to the aerospace, defence and R&D sectors has a new vacancy for Commercial Manager. Joining at a time of new product development and company expansion, you will be responsible for all aspects of contract management including drafting, negotiating and managing complex contracts. Key Responsibilities: Lead contract management activities. Support full project lifecycle (RFQ’s, Pre-Qual, Tendering & Contract Closure). Ensuring business compliance in accordance with all laws and industry regulations. Work closely with the sales team to develop Commercial input into bids and proposals. Report on Commercial opportunities and risks. Training and developing team colleagues on best practises. Attend customer meetings and develop good working relationships. Providing guidance on Commercial/Legal matters. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet customer specifications and timelines. Ideal Candidate: Strong understanding of commercial terms, contracts, and pricing strategies. Will have worked in a highly regulated sector (aerospace, defence, energy, etc) Experience in drafting, negotiating and closing complex contracts. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Experience of establishing/managing strategic relationships. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for growth
