The school is now seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic MFL [French] Teacher to join its thriving school community.
About the role…
As an MFL teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
* Support students in developing their language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
* Encourage a love of languages and cultural awareness among students.
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring inclusivity and promoting success.
* Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and participate in extra-curricular activities such as language clubs and school trips.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach MFL across Key Stage 3, 4, and possibly Key Stage 5.
* Foster a positive learning environment that supports student engagement and achievement.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing feedback and support.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the MFL department’s curriculum and teaching resources.
* Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
The Ideal Candidate:
* A qualified teacher with a degree in a Modern Foreign Language or a related field.
* Strong subject knowledge.
* Passionate about languages and committed to inspiring students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
