About The Role
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service is seeking an ambitious Finance Apprentice to join our Exchequer Services team. As a key member of our finance team, you will work towards your Level 2 Certificate in Accounting while providing administrative support and undertaking a generalist role.
This fixed-term opportunity is designed for individuals looking to develop their skills and knowledge in finance, with the potential to secure permanent employment at the end of the 2-year apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with day-to-day administrative duties within the Exchequer Services team
• Provide generalist support to team members
• Work towards achieving a Level 2 Certificate in Accounting
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and develop their skills in finance.
We estimate the salary for this role to be £17,000 - £19,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
