We are seeking an IT Support Co-Ordinator. The IT Support Co-Ordinator is responsible for the management, maintenance, and support of the organisation's IT infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems, providing technical support to end-users, implementing security measures, and managing hardware and software resources. To support and assist the IT Manager in delivering a robust and fit for purpose IT support service to the business. Requirements Responsibilities Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software problems. Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and software. Ensure all IT Helpdesk and support issues are dealt with promptly on a priority basis. Ensure that the Helpdesk system is regularly maintained so that users are kept updated on the progress of their issues. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, software licenses, configurations, and procedures. Ensure effective communication with all internal and external customers including making regional office visits when required. Perform IT inductions for all new staff and provide on-going advice on best practice. Assist with administration of the Dynamics CRM and Business Central systems. Assist the IT Manager with management, tracking and safeguarding of hardware assets and data. Monitor backups and NAS health. Conduct Active Directory tasks to include user account administration, password resets and basic security maintenance in line with agreed IT policies. Set up new users and install hardware and software when and where required. Implement the leaver policy to safeguard IT equipment and systems when notified of a leaver by the HR Department Assist with the opening of new offices and office moves requiring IT and Systems support. Comply with all relevant IT Policies, guidance, and processes. Maintain up to date technical knowledge and participate in on-going technical and customer service/personal effectiveness training and development. Any other duties as reasonably requested. Experience and skills Good working knowledge of desktop operating systems, especially Windows 10 and 11 Dealing with and providing support to end users at all levels of a business both locally and remotely. Troubleshooting Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint. Security and virus protection products such as ESET and Malwarebytes. Good understanding of MDM (mobile-device-management) Good understanding of networking, routers, VLAN, DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP protocols Microsoft Azure, EntraID and Windows server administration Knowledge of PC builds and upgrades.
