I am supporting a great client based in Gloucestershire looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team in a brand–new role on a permanent full–time basis.
Salary is dependent on experience but ranging from 35,000pa – 42,000pa. The role is full time on site but offering fantastic benefits such as free on–site parking, fantastic pension and life insurance.
It is beneficial if successful candidates have previous experience in costing and ideally from a Manufacturing/Logistics/Retail industry background.
Responsibilities as an Accountant:
* Preparation of weekly and monthly supplier payment runs.
* Performing credit control function including resolution of outstanding queries.
* Assist with purchasing and raising of purchase orders.
* Preparation of month end Management Accounts.
* Submission of quarterly VAT returns.
Requirements:
* AAT L4 Qualified or qualified by experience with extensive experience.
* Experience with Sage50.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel.
