Overall purpose of the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET and Azure Web Developer to join our Group IT division. You will play a critical role in building and enhancing our Azure-based claims systems, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. As part of a global team, you will contribute to shaping the core systems that drive the company's operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Feature Development: Build and deliver features for the company’s core claims platform, ensuring alignment with user stories and solution designs provided by the Change team.
* Requirements Refinement: Collaborate with stakeholders to finalize requirements and optimize solutions to meet business needs.
* Technical Handover: Assist in the transition of features to support teams by providing comprehensive documentation, monitoring tools, and hands-on support during hyper care periods.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our systems.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Solution Architects, and Support teams, to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

Person specification
Technical Expertise:
* Full Stack .NET Development: Proven experience in developing web applications using .NET technologies.
* Blazor: Hands-on experience with Blazor and Telerik Blazor Components.
* Azure Platform: Deep knowledge of Azure Function Apps, Service Bus triggers, and Azure Container Apps development and deployment.
* Data Handling:
o Strong proficiency in SQL, including stored procedures and query optimization.
o Experience with No-SQL data modeling and Cosmos DB, including Change Feeds.
* APIs: Expertise in AspNetCore OData APIs.
* DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, GIT, and CI/CD practices.
