Our client, a leader in engineering, is seeking a skilled Utility Surveyor to join their dynamic team. Based in West Yorkshire, with operations extending to the Manchester area, this permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting utility surveys and managing survey data
* Utilising industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Enforce, and Nclear
* Collaborating with a team of 30 staff members, ensuring seamless project delivery
* Managing on-site activities and ensuring compliance with safety standards
* Engaging in projects related to national grid, power grid, high voltage, schools, highways, and utilities
* Maintaining and operating survey equipment and software
* Working remotely and managing time effectively when away from home
* Preparing reports and documentation for stakeholders
Job Requirements:
* Experience in utility surveying
* Proficiency with AutoCAD, Enforce, and Nclear software
* Ability to work effectively within a team and manage time efficiently
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Valid driver's licence
* Willingness to travel and work away from home as needed
* Understanding of health and safety regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
