Job Role: Relief Estates Operative (Ref 2758)
Location: Torquay, Devon
Salary: £11.54 per hour plus benefits.
Hours: Flexible hours - 12 hour shifts - days and nights
Main Responsibilities
1. Provide a high standard of service to the site and our customers.
2. Handle all external and internal calls to the porter’s desk in the correct manner.
3. Maintain a diary and log all events as directed by the Estate Manager.
4. Ensure the development and its buildings and common areas are professionally cleaned, well presented and maintained.
5. Ensure completion of all health & safety, resident checks and routine duties as per the check sheets.
6. Comply with H&S procedures, potential issues identified / reported.
7. Carry out deep cleaning as and when requested.
8. Report any maintenance issues that may arise to the Estate Manager and remedy them upon instruction.
9. Deliver a high standard of service when serving in the Country Club, Bistro & lounge. Liaise with Residents & Guests on Events & Club Activities.
10. Interact and assist with residents and visitors in a professional and friendly manner and relay information to the Estate Manager.
11. Carry out weekly fire alarm tests.
12. Follow COSHH regulations when using chemicals, record all stock, and report to the Estate Manager stock levels & requirements.
Skills & Experience
1. Customer service: A passion for providing an exceptional level of customer service at all times, ideally in a face-to-face environment.
2. Communication: A natural communicator, warm and friendly, able to make customers feel valued.
3. Health & Safety: An understanding of the importance of health & safety, experience of dealing with challenging or emergency situations.
4. Organisation: Organised, methodical, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
5. Personal: An outgoing personality, with the ability to build professional relationships with colleagues and customers, self-motivated, pro-active, team oriented, and innovative.
