Multiple full-time and part-time roles available Short-term and long-term positions available Varied start dates Competitive rate ££89 - £110 per day A Specialist provision within a mainstream Primary school in Rochdale require SEN Teaching Assistants. The school requires staff on short-term and long-term contracts which could be either on a full-time or a part-time basis. The school cater for primary pupils with MLD, ASC, SCLN, SpLD, Visual impairments and HI. They are looking for individuals who are passionate to making a difference with children in Specialist settings. Within these roles, as an SEN Teaching Assistant, your job will involve creating positive relationships with the pupils and encouraging positive choices and behaviour. You will be expected to provide general support within the classes and work collaboratively with other LSAs and the class teachers. These roles have varied start dates therefore if you have any availability and are interested in the roles - please get in touch Long-term roles available Full-time positions (Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm/8.30am-4.00pm) Required to commit to the school on a long-term basis Interested in securing a permanent role Short-term roles available Part-time and/or full-time positions (Varied/ ad-hoc days - 8.30am-1.00pm/ 12.00pm- 3.30pm/ 8.30am-3.30pm/4.00pm) Would be covering emergency/ scheduled absences The schools are keen to consider a variety of staff in terms of experience, you are likely to be successful whether you are an experienced SEN support assistant, a graduate looking for experience in specialist provision or have current or prior experience support/care/ youth worker etc. Ideally if you have supported individuals with additional needs, that would be desirable however this is not essential to be successful.
