MacKenzie King are recruiting a Temporary Payroll Manager for a well-respected business, based on the outskirts of Colchester. As a Temporary Payroll Manager, you will manage 2 Payroll Assistants and be responsible for the administration, processing and delivery of payroll for the business in a timely and accurate manner. Duties & Responsibilities: Organise and prioritise workloads each month to deliver payroll for approximately 2000 employees, across 2 monthly payrolls (salaried and hourly paid) Processing all payroll documents, expenses, mileage, and pay increases Checking and approval of payroll and authorisation of BACS payments Processing and submitting payments to pension companies Payroll queries by phone and email for employees and managers Issuing of P45’s and P60’s Sickness recording and issuing of SSP1’s SMP, SPP and SAP recorded and processed Ad hoc reporting as requested Key Skills & Attributes: Strong communication skills to liaise at all levels Experience in a similar role System migration experience would be advantageous Intermediate Excel skills
