Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shift Manager. The function is to ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements and those duties delegated by the Head of Maintenance, including the satisfactory completion and certification of all work packages assigned in accordance with the work specification
Responsibilities:
* The day-to-day Management line, workshop and base maintenance activities.
* Assigning Lead Maintenance Engineers (LME), as required, for specific maintenance inputs.
* Assigning Certifying and Support Staff and Technicians to line maintenance activities.
* Assisting the Head of Maintenance and/or Maintenance Support Manager in prioritising short term maintenance planning and AOG recovery planning.
* Populating and updating the Aircraft Planning document and the Aircraft Status whiteboards as required.
* Delivering a daily brief at the beginning of each shift, outlining the maintenance activities and priorities.
* Briefing ramp personnel on any aircraft movements that are required for engine ground runs, refuels and any other specific maintenance activities.
* Immediately reporting to the Head of Maintenance any issues that may impact on any maintenance activities and planned timescales.
* Receiving, when delegated, any Purchase Orders from the CAMO and actioning them in accordance with the Purchase Order Procedure.
* Actioning any Purchase Order up-issues, ensuring that all personnel are briefed; accordingly.
* Ensuring that Leading Edge Maintenance procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out maintenance.
Qualifications:
* An unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 B1.1 Licence, holding Beech 300 or 200 type ratings, or B1.2 Part 66 Licence with PA31 or Group 3 type ratings.
* Demonstrable recent experience on Beech 200, 300, PA31 or Group 3 aircraft.
* Flexible and able to travel to work at other sites as required.
* Automatic right to work in the UK.
* Excellent team player and communicator.
* Able to work as a team.
* Good IT skills.
