The University of Leicester is seeking a dedicated Residential Life Assistant Manager (Revenue and Administration) to join our Estates and Campus Services team. In this role, you will coordinate the administrative and operational activities related to revenue management, ensuring income targets are met and resources are utilised efficiently. You will provide leadership to the Accommodation and Leicester Conferences Events teams, oversee guest and student arrivals, and ensure the smooth delivery of conferences and events. You will share leadership and supervision of the Accommodation team and Conference & Events team in the day-to-day operations of the wider team, to support with welfare, admin and all events activities. You will have primary leadership and supervision responsibility of the Leicester Conferences Events team.
This permanent, full-time position is integral to maintaining excellent customer service across the University's residential and event services. Working one weekend in four, with additional evening or weekend responsibilities as required, you will help enhance the residential experience and operational efficiency across the Oadby Village, City sites, and College Court.
About you
You will have GCSE-level qualifications or equivalent, alongside substantial experience in administration and revenue management. Your background should demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Experience in supervising teams, managing conferences and events, and delivering exceptional customer service is essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a keen interest in commercial sales and stakeholder engagement, are critical for success in this role.
