Main duties of the job The NCL Nursing and AHP Ambassador role supports workforce development, planning and education of primary care nursing and AHP professions across the five boroughs in North Central London: Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, and Islington. This post will contribute to and deliver a range of priorities to ensure the continued professional development of primary care nursing and AHP teams, including reviewing and developing peer and professional support networks to help recruit and retain borough workforce. The postholder will work closely with a number of key stakeholders such as GP employers and Federations, borough and PCN teams, NCL Integrated Care Board (ICB), nursing and AHP lead colleagues in acute/mental health/community trust within and outside the NCL Integrated Care System (ICS), NCL and borough Training Hubs, higher education institutes (HEIs), and NHS England.
