An opportunity has arisen within the Communications and Engagement Team for a Band 7 Communications and Engagement Manager.
The role will support the Associate Director of Communications and Engagement and will oversee the day to day operations of team. This includes oversight of internal staff communications and engagement, ensuring social media, PR strategies and campaigns are being effectively executed, playing a leadership role in the way we engage with partners and the wider community, and being a link with system partners on a strategic level.
You will be experienced in working across the spectrum of communications and engagement work; be comfortable dealing with high profile and complex issues; have a good knowledge and experience of system working; and have experience leading projects and campaigns, including across organisational boundaries.
You will provide line management support and have experience in a management/supervisory capacity. The role will require general management duties to support the effective running of the team on a day to day basis. You should also be comfortable and confident in deputising for the Associate Director of Communications and Engagement at a senior and strategic level, providing expert advice and guidance to members of the Trust’s Executive Team. Evidence and experience of working at this level would be essential.
