We reserve the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, and dedicated Art Teacher to join our team who will contribute to the development of the Art and DT faculty. The successful candidate will be expected to teach GCSE in a school that was recently inspected as a “good” school by Ofsted.
What skills and experience are we looking for:
1. Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of creative thinkers and artists?
2. Are you able to nurture artistic talent and foster self-expression in a diverse and supportive learning environment?
3. Are you committed to delivering engaging, high-quality art education and building positive relationships rooted in respect?
What you will do:
We teach students a wide range of practical skills and activities, and the work of our Art Department is evident all over our school walls, where we celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students. You will deliver the curriculum, prepare teaching materials, and ensure high standards of literacy and student progress. You will be expected to establish a safe and stimulating learning environment, manage classroom behaviour, and promote student well-being.
