Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity is hiring for an experienced Philanthropy Manager (Trusts and Reporting) to by a key player in securing philanthropic gifts from Trusts and Foundations and producing high-quality proposals and impact reports to effectively steward donors. The Philanthropy team secures funding from high-net-worth individuals and charitable foundations, from £10,000 to £1 million level donations. They play a key role in driving the campaign for the new Children’s Cancer Centre, developing fundraising initiatives for child health research, and developing new audiences and funding streams. This is a permanent position with a salary range of £38,387 to £40,407 per annum. We also operate a hybrid working policy of 2 days per week in the office. Key Responsibilities Managing a portfolio of donors, owning a personal income target with a focus on securing five and six figure gifts and multi-year pledges. Developing and nurturing relationships with charitable trusts and high-net-worth individuals, as well as senior volunteers and stakeholders to seek out new partnerships. Creating detailed proposals, impact reports and stewardship materials to engage and inspire donors and prospects. Acting in an advisory capacity to the whole of the Philanthropy Team on creative and compelling impact reporting, supporting the delivery reports for our largest donors. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Previous experience in a trust fundraising position, or similar customer-facing role. Experience developing and managing high value relationships. Exceptional stakeholder management skills. Strong communication skills. An eye for detail and the ability to craft compelling proposals and impact reports.
