City have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who aspires to develop their career in Refrigeration Engineering whilst gaining an Apprentice qualification.

Overview
This Apprenticeship will help you gain both a technical qualification and invaluable real-world development experience.
Studying towards a Level 3 in Refrigeration, you will undertake a blend of college and on-the-job learning.
This role will operate in a live environment and will see you involved in activities and learning that support the service provisions of the City business.
What might a typical day in this job look like?
City follows a block or day release programme, where you will attend a technical college working towards a NVQ level 3 in Refrigeration, combined with onsite coaching from experienced Engineers.
Each day will be a new challenge, as you learn and gain experience covering all the technical and hands-on tasks required to develop you into the next generation of engineer, in an industry that is constantly evolving with new technologies.
What will I learn?
You'll study towards a Level 3 NVQ in Refrigeration. In addition, you will be able to gain experience working with refrigeration in both installation and maintenance environments, alongside a highly accomplished team of Engineers.
You'll go beyond just being an Apprentice and will gain experience of working on a range of diverse tasks and projects.
What qualifications or qualities are required?
Essential requirements for the role:
1. 5 GCSE Grade C or above including Maths, English, and a minimum of one Science subject.
2. Full driving license.
3. Ability to work with minimum supervision.
4. Good communication skills (written and verbal).
5. Helpful & friendly manner.
6. Self-motivated.
7. Ability to work at heights.
8. Physically fit.
9. Willingness to work flexible hours.
