Our client is looking for a Head of HR for their highly interesting business Client Details A leader in their field Description · Liaise with management regarding recruitment requirements and advertise any roles on a variety of platforms. · Maintenance and filing of application forms · Answer employment enquiries from general public · Assist the selection progress where required, this includes:- · Short-listing of candidates; · Arranging interviews of short-listed candidates; · Interviewing of candidates · Secure references as necessary · Notifying unsuccessful candidates in writing · Issue appointment letters and contracts to successful candidates · Complete right to work checks · Update Time & Attendance system with new starts details · Provide Management with information on manpower issues internally and externally · Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies to use as and when required and negotiate discounted rates Provide advice and guidance to mangers on employment law and good business practice Issue and review all employee contracts as necessary Ensure employee handbooks kept up to date with current UK employment legislation and in house practices.
