We’re on the lookout for a Security Guard to join a dynamic team at a busy manufacturing site based in Glossop. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of the site, making a tangible impact on the day-to-day environment for all employees, visitors, and contractors. What’s on offer? Fixed gross weekly pay of £670.59 4 week rotating shift pattern (6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am) Day shift paid at 1.25x allowance / Night shift paid at 1.5x allowance Excellent staff discounts Annual performance and salary reviews Onsite parking and canteen What will you be doing as a Security Guard? Supervising daily site security to ensure safe access and egress for employees, visitors, and contractors Ensuring all vehicles entering the site are recorded according to company procedures Managing site emergency procedures for incidents like fire, chemical spills, or floods Monitoring site compliance with health and safety regulations Managing security-related communications, including tannoy announcements Handling key management and mail distribution Conducting security searches as required Overseeing the removal of company property to ensure proper authorisation Performing other duties in line with business needs What do you need?
