Due to the nature of our business, we take security very seriously and require all employees to hold the necessary security clearances. Ideally, you will already hold either SC or DV Security clearance or are willing to undergo security clearances as required.
Responsibilities
You will become the primary focal point for the following:
Reporting directly to the PMO Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
* The initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects.
* Planning and scheduling of project timelines.
* Coordinating project staff, key stakeholders, and tracking project utilisation.
* Resource planning and allocation.
* Managing RAIDO (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies, and Opportunities).
* Managing project administration.
* Tracking deliverables.
* Meeting budgetary objectives and tracking financial performance.
* Reporting project metrics to the PMO and other key stakeholders.
* Traveling to and visiting client sites where necessary.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
* Demonstrable understanding of digital design and e-learning development processes, including experience in either hands-on development or planning and coordinating such projects.
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a project/programme/portfolio management environment.
* An in-depth knowledge of at least one ‘Waterfall’ project/programme/portfolio management framework/methodology.
* Exposure to, and an excellent understanding of Agile project management.
* Formal training and/or certification in Project Management e.g., Prince II, APM, PMI.
* Excellent Office 365 skills including MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
* Strong communication and presentation skills with both internal staff and external customers.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Ability to resolve conflict where necessary.
* Full UK driving license.
