What are we looking for?
Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit an Institute Operations Manager to join our Critical Care and Anaesthesia Institute. This is a full-time role with the following shift patterns: Monday – Friday between 09:00-17:00 involving a hybrid working model.

Each Institute has an Institute Operations Manager. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of services, serving as a primary point of contact for Consultants within the Institute, and clinical and administrative teams across the organization, specifically within Critical Care, Anaesthesia and Pain Services.
What will your duties include?
1. People management: responsible for working with different professional teams to ensure that services are delivered efficiently and effectively to a high standard of quality and safety.
2. Proactive issue resolution: responsible for proactively identifying and resolving issues which may impact services delivered within their Institutes at any Cleveland Clinic London facility, including outpatient, inpatient, or administrative services.
3. Scheduling: responsible for ensuring efficiency and productivity in outpatient, day case and inpatient activity, working closely with consultants, medical secretaries, Global Patient Services, and patient access teams.
4. Finance: responsible for day-to-day monitoring of charges to ensure patients are billed appropriately and in good time, working with clinical teams to ensure these are documented appropriately and with the Finance and Commercial teams to resolve pricing queries.
5. Engagement: responsible for ensuring the Institute has good communication and engagement with its consultant body.
6. Performance: will support Institute monthly performance reporting on quality, activity, and finance metrics.
7. Other duties assigned.
What we need from you?
* Considerable years of progressively responsible related work experience (essential).
* Experience in acute care setting of Health Service and/or private healthcare market is required (essential).
* Experience in operational management within a healthcare organization (essential).
* Experience in delivering commercial and financial objectives, including developing business cases, supporting with budget, commercial analysis (desirable).
* Experience delivering service-focused objectives, including service improvement and customer service development (desirable).
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required, or experience will offset the degree.
