THE ROLE The main duties of the Post Production Coordinator are to complete all paperwork relevant to the program including music clearance. They will also organize ADR sessions with the cast, liaising and discussing with the Assistant Sound Editor to ensure that all the ADR is recorded in time for the Dubbing session. You will be required to liaise with the Line Producer to forecast the post production costs effectively, and keep the post production schedule complete and in order to ensure the smooth running of the department. WHAT DOES IT TAKE? To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following criteria - Essential • Experience of working in a Post Production Department, preferably in Drama • Proven knowledge of Post Production techniques • Proven knowledge of the industry standard software, including Avid Media Composer and Silvermouse • Knowledge of Avid Media Composer • Thorough knowledge of office procedures and systems and excellent accounting skills, particularly in relation to Outlook, Word and Excel Desirable • The ability to speak Welsh is an advantage • Knowledge and passion for Drama • Excellent organisational and planning skills and the ability to meet specified time limits • Ability to respond to constant changes in priority, by rearranging your workload to meet changing targets and time limits • You should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interject clearly and concisely LIFE AT BBC STUDIOS Here, we champion an inclusive culture aligned with our Pledge, fostering an environment where you can freely unleash your creativity, in the pursuit of bold content.
