Job Description
FinTech RS are currently supporting our client to recruit for a HR Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a full time (8am-4pm), office based position in a busy and dynamic HR team. Due to the nature of this role and its busy/ fast paced environment the ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in HR and have a highly adaptable and hands on approach to their work.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to guide and influence decision-making, ensuring alignment with company standards and best practices. Escalate complex issues to the HR Manager when necessary
* Oversee Employee Relations cases from start to finish, including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, capability matters, flexible working requests, absence, and performance management. Provide coaching and practical advice to line managers and supervisors throughout the process
* Assist the HR Manager in executing key annual HR processes, such as salary reviews, succession planning, and employee surveys
* Take a proactive role in enhancing the people management capabilities of the site management team, empowering line managers and supervisors to confidently and independently handle people-related issues
* Identify and implement opportunities for improving processes and driving efficiencies within the department and across the site
* Lead assigned ad-hoc projects, including data collection, research, and analysis, ensuring successful outcomes
* Support recruitment activities in collaboration with the Recruiter, including utilizing the recruitment system for job postings, handling applications, scheduling interviews, and participating in the interview panel
* Provide support to the Training Coordinator in organizing new hire inductions, health surveillance/occupational health appointments, and addressing any other training needs that arise
Skills & Experience required:
Previous experience as a HR Advisor is essential and a CIPD qualification is preferred
Strong experience/ knowledge of handling Employee Relations cases is essential for this role
Highly passionate about providing a proactive, operationally focused HR service that adds value to the business
Skilled in building relationships and influencing others effectively
Demonstrates discretion and diplomacy, treating all departmental information as highly confidential
Exceptional attention to detail is essential, including proofreading and editing
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with multi-national teams at all levels
Capable of multitasking and working independently to meet deadlines
Resilient in the face of ambiguity and shifting priorities, maintaining a positive, “can-do” attitude
