The School is a large, successful and welcoming academic faculty with many undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses, extensive research and facilities. Main duties and responsibilities You will work as part of a front line team dealing with customer enquiries and information requests, sharing in helping to manage the Administration team window, welcoming visitors and assisting with enquiries and directions. You will ensure that the agreed customer service standards are always adhered to and support the production, preparation, and presentation of material for Degree Apprenticeships in support of Ofsted visits and accreditation visits by professional bodies. You must be able to provide a high standard of customer service, dealing effectively with all enquiries and information requests through multiple contact methods including face-to-face, telephone, IT systems (e.g., email, SMS, Web) and other formats as appropriate. You will support the Academic Lead for Apprenticeships and Programme Leaders in the preparation, maintenance, and checking, of records related to Degree Apprenticeship learners and their progress and support the production, preparation, and submission of data for the new Degree Apprenticeship Student record system. Skills and experience required You will have good IT skills, including the use of MSOffice and databases, be numerate and literate and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of customer care, including a polite, helpful and confident telephone manner. You will have a can-do attitude to problem solving, be flexible and adaptable to workload and team requirements and be effective in a team setting. The ability to collect, process and present complex data using Excel and the ability to communicate in a variety of formats to different audiences is essential for this role. You will have the ability to deal with conflicting priorities and to work under pressure with minimum supervision and have a methodical approach/attention to detail.
