We have an excellent opportunity for a Credit Controller to join the fast-paced accounts receivable team who will contribute to the company’s financial performance through efficient processing and collection of customer payments. You will ensure payments are received within the agreed payment terms using the technology available to drive workload. About You Key Responsibilities: Review aged of debt for customers assigned on a regular basis to identify overdue debts. Chase customers for payment Resolve any queries preventing the customer making payment in a timely manner Send copy invoices/credit notes when requested on a timely basis Work with internal branch network stakeholders to ensure customers say within payment terms Pass accounts to credit risk sub function when all attempts to get the payment fail Support management in understanding areas of risk within the portfolio assigned to you such that appropriate actions are taken to mitigate credit risk Place accounts “on stop” to prevent debts increasing until payment has been received. Deal with customers in a professional manner Resolve customer queries in a timely manner working within delegated levels of authority Qualifications: Experience in a similar role Fully computer literate including use of Microsoft applications (eg excel, powerpoint and word) Effective communicator that is able to liaise with multiple departments and external stakeholders. Strong financial and commercial acumen Work well under pressure & deadline focused Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Demonstrate clear analytical skills This is a Hybrid role, 3 days in the office a week.
