About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Senior Dialysis Nurse to join a warm and welcoming private clinic based in Crawley, West Sussex. The clinic has a fantastic team of friendly staff who are passionate about the role they do and take great pride in the person-centred care that they provide to each and every patient.
Duties and responsibilities:
You will be working as a Senior Dialysis Nurse and will be responsible for the following duties:
1. Act as a mentor for the team, guiding and sharing knowledge and skills
2. Be the Nurse in Charge and occasionally deputise for the Clinic Manager when required
3. Ensure exceptional patient centred care is delivered at all times
4. Take ownership of care programs for renal patients
5. Perform patient assessments throughout
6. Prepare and monitor dialysis machines and systems
7. Review pre and post-haemodialysis care with patients
Who we're looking for:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Be NMC registered - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
2. Eligibility to live and work in the UK
3. A minimum of 2 years UK experience as a Renal Dialysis Nurse
4. In possession of, or working towards, a post-registration clinical course in Renal Nursing (ENB 136 or equivalent)
5. Mentorship/Teaching Qualification desirable
6. Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care
7. Excellent communication skills
