Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal Executive Assistant to join our in-house corporate legal team. This role will be based in our Farnborough, UK office.
You will support our Legal Department in managing the company's diverse legal and corporate governance matters, working closely with our legal counsels and business stakeholders across the organisation.
Main responsibilities
1. Support the corporate legal team with entity management, board meetings, and corporate governance matters, maintaining corporate records, minute books, and statutory registers.
2. Assist in preparing board materials, resolutions, and corporate filings, coordinating with external counsel on various corporate and commercial matters.
3. Support the legal team in due diligence processes for corporate transactions and assist with regulatory filings and compliance matters.
4. Maintain legal department documentation, including policies and procedures, and provide administrative support for the legal department.
5. Support our legal entities in various jurisdictions.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate or legal studies degree preferred.
2. 3-5 years of corporate paralegal experience, preferably in an international environment.
3. Strong understanding of corporate law and governance practices.
4. Experience with entity management systems.
5. Knowledge of corporate filing requirements and procedures.
Skills
1. Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
2. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
5. Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
6. Fluent in English; other European languages a strong plus.
