CNC Turner Programmer/Setter - Precision Engineering Location: West Sussex Salary: between £16.50 and £25 an hour Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week) Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 16:30pm Friday 7:30am to 13:30pm About the Role We are working with a well-established precision engineering company that specializes in the manufacture of small to medium-sized, complex components. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer/Setter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong programming and setting experience on multi-axis Fanuc lathes and be confident working to tight tolerances. Key Responsibilities Program and set multi-axis Fanuc lathes for complex components. Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately. Ensure components meet strict tolerance requirements from start to finish. Follow route cards and verbal instructions to maintain workflow efficiency. Evaluate and improve existing working processes and procedures. Work independently or as part of a team to meet production targets. Key Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Skilled in programming and setting Fanuc-controlled lathes. Experience with CAD software would be advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
