Depot Manager Skills: Full, clean ‘B’ Driving license essential Motorway maintenance/construction experience Proficient IT skills Leadership and Team Management: ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of workers, including operatives, administration staff, & other personnel. Organisation and Planning: Strong organisational skills to coordinate works, manage inventory & schedule operations efficiently. As Depot Manager: Responsibilities will include: Direct report to O&M Manager and Deputy Ensuring the smooth, lawful and efficient running of the operation & maintenance depot in liaison with managers as appropriate and following the leadership and direction of the Deputy O&M Manager in collaboration with the O&M Manager, including the direct line management of staff locally and maintenance of all standards and controls set out in the Contract. Ensure compliance with all duties and responsibilities under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005, The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Construction Regulations 2013, the Protection of the Environment Act 2003 and all other Regulations, Codes of Practice, Etc. Programming and Planning Works; Depot housekeeping and plant maintenance Salt Management (strategic TII), Weighbridge calibration, loading shovel delegation, coordinating Local authorities’ deliveries, (Balbriggan only); Inspections of site works, quality control and ensuring front-line standards of work are sustained; The Package: An excellent package will be put in place for the successful candidate, with a basic salary of €71000 €8,500 Winter Maintenance On Call if you opt into this which includes 3 additional holidays.
