Main Purpose This graduate role is part of our Applications, the purpose is to address technical queries and identify new applications that benefit the company. This position offers an opportunity to transition from academic studies to practical, hands-on experience, contributing to the success and growth of Bender UK. Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively with the applications teams to first learn existing business before embarking on developing new solutions Support the Sales Team at Technical meetings as required by attending on behalf or alongside the Business Development Manager Keep up to date with all relevant legislation Champion in software-oriented solutions for Bender UK Work collaboratively with Bender HQ R&D team to drive on development of intelligent energy solutions, becoming part of competency group Support with commissioning and servicing of projects across all sectors (occasionally required) Support with the delivery of new and existing projects as required Regular communication with sales team to ensure new business is won Complete all administrative tasks using the CRM system and ensure customer files are kept up to date Answer and respond to all Inbound technical queries Ad hoc tasks as and when requested To promote cross functional working and demonstrate a one team approach Knowledge & Skills Electrical power systems Software background/understanding Time Management Prioritising and Planning skills Good communication skills verbal and written Good administrative skills Computer literacy Good attention to detail Dedication: Proactively seeks solutions to engineering challenges, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement. Experience & Qualifications Graduate Electrical Engineer (or equivalent and in a related field) plus familiarity with any software language Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the UK.
