Job Summary:
We’re seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Account Executive/Account Executive dependent on experience to join our team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to develop essential PR skills while contributing to the success of client campaigns across various industries, including fashion, outdoor, culture, food, and lifestyle.
The person in this role will assist senior team members with press and stylist outreach, tastemaker liaison, and daily account management while guiding interns on their day tasks.
Core Responsibilities:
Media Relations:
* Draft and pitch press releases and product mailers
* Pitch creative ideas and secure media coverage
* Support with VIP and talent planning and outreach
* Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, stylists, influencers, and other industry figures
* Facilitate incoming media inquiries
Account Management:
* Support senior team members with day-to-day account activities
* Assist in developing PR strategies and plans
* Conduct research that supports and informs press outcomes
* Assist with events
* Support with client reports
Agency Tasks:
* Management and recruitment of interns
* Showroom management
* Support with agency social media
Requirements:
* Have a keen interest in PR and communications
* Have a feel for social media, current trends, and culture
* Ideally, 1-2 years of experience in PR working in a fast-paced agency environment or in-house role
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in Google Suite and Canva (Sheets, Docs, and Slides)
* Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
* Eager to contribute to team efforts and the smooth operation of the agency
* Curious, with a willingness to learn and grow in the role
* Digital design skills are a plus
* A passion for sustainability and ethical practices within the fashion industry is desirable
