You will lead on the design and delivery of education and training across the region with the overriding aim of reducing the risk of community tracheostomies. You will support the Tracheostomy Practitioners to undertake clinical reviews and highlight areas of clinical instability which could be improved through enhanced education, training and individualised support. Education will be provided in different environments, to different audiences and in different formats so adaptability and a dynamic approach is essential. You will lead on the development of education resources and training pathways to develop standardised teaching frameworks across the region. You will lead on the education and training focused long term service aims to engage with wider organisations and networks to develop education delivery processes. Auditing and monitoring of competencies and education provision will be required to ensure efficacy and maximised impact of this exciting new role.
