Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Derbyshire based client to recruit for a Part Time Purchasing Manager.
The role
As the companies Purchasing Manager you will ensure cost effective and timely purchasing of all materials required for Production and any other services as required by the business.
You will also play a key role in optimising the companies supply chain and the maintaining and building of supplier relationships.
To be considered for this role you must have:
Previous purchasing/buying experience of at 5 years ideally from a food or chemical manufacturing environment, candidates from other areas of manufacturing will also be considered
You must have strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
Good IT Skills particularly in Excel
