Job Summary:
The purpose of this role is to proactively manage and develop our day to day repairs and maintenance service. You will be a key liaison for clergy ensuring they are aware of progress on repairs and matters that affect their living feeding back their comments to the team. You will oversee and liaise with our agents who manage the lettings process.
You will be part of a small dedicated close team to provide advice and support as we work to deliver a safe, warm, comfortable and sustainable home for the benefit of clergy.

Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering a service tailored to the needs of our clergy.
* Responding to clergy/tenant inquiries and resolve housing-related issues promptly.
* Providing basic self-help advice on minor repairs.
* Proactively managing the letting process for vacant housing including operational oversight of lettings agents and Property Guardians.
o Being responsible for database inputs, compliance, KPI reports.
o Managing our move in / exit process from the start to finish.
o Conducting property inspections as instructed and report on repair issues, building defects, health and safety and housing matters.
* Managing our repairs contractors to ensure schedule of works are adhered to with the right quality of work and customer service standards.
* Helping set up and manage all utility bills on time.
* Managing the relevant budget lines relating to these processes.
* Developing and promoting excellence in the Clergy Housing service helping set high standards and expectations. Monitoring and providing feedback on performance against those standards. Developing mechanisms to support this area.
* Providing management and customer information to the Clergy Housing Committee.
* Managing compliance with regard to our statutory and health and safety requirements with regard to our housing portfolio.
* Managing information on our property database using this as a key planning, budgetary and reporting tool.
* Carrying out CPD and be conversant in current best practice.
