Job summary Registered Nurse - Band 5 We are looking for a enthusiastic and motivated individual to be part of the Keeping Well Service in ABUHB o Responsible for giving clinical advice to patients, ensuring they receive information on how they can optimise their health pre-operatively. This will be based upon evidence-based practice in line with the legal requirements, statutory rules, and Health Board policies to practice and the NMC code of conduct.o Support the delivery of planned care, signposting and referring patients to national and local services enabling patients to live well whilst waitingo The post holder will have responsibility for the nursing assessment of patient care needs and the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care.o Provide advice and support to all patients Main duties of the job To be responsible for giving specialist clinical advice to patients without direct supervision, ensuring they receive information on how they can optimise their heath pre-operatively. Calling and answering telephone calls from patients in relation to their wellbeing. Logging all calls, maintaining accurate patient information via WPAS, and providing clinical advice based on the concern or query raised. This post is fixed term/secondment for 12 months until 31st March 2026 due to funding.
