It is aimed but not exclusive to candidates currently working at Band 5 who are ready to develop specialist nursing skills associated with interventional radiology theatres and looking for a progressive role to a band 6 position. Main duties of the job This training role offers an excellent opportunity to develop key skills, especially in scrubbing to assist with theatre procedures. You'll be involved in perioperative patient care, including administering IV medication and post-operative care such as sheath removal. The role requires close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including consultants, radiographers, and other healthcare professionals.
