You will take a leading role in delivery of the PreSchool Futures project, led by Prof Joanna Collingwood in the School of Engineering. This project centres on recognition of engineering skills in an early years context.
The role will involve working independently and collaboratively, with responsibility for coordinating project planning and delivery.
This includes organising meetings with relevant stakeholders, record keeping, project administration (such as preparing and managing ethical approval documentation when appropriate), staying up to date with the latest research and practice developments in the field, and communicating progress and findings through various formats.
These may include conference posters and talks, peer-reviewed publications, and formal reports.
The work may include literature reviews, ethically-approved surveys and observational studies, workshop and conference organisation and/or attendance, liaison with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds, and evaluation of engineering skills measures in early years education frameworks in the UK and internationally.
