Support Worker Location: Edinburgh and the Lothians Salary: £23,400 per annum- perm/ £13.15 hourly rate- temp Hours: Full-Time & Part-Time roles available Contract: Temporary, Permanent and Temporary to Permanent opportunities available About the Role: We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team and help improve the quality of life for adults with learning disabilities & neurodiversity, older age adults & adults facing Homelessness and housing support in Edinburgh and the surrounding Lothian areas. As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support, enabling individuals to live as independently as possible, while fostering an environment of dignity and respect. You will work alongside a dedicated team to support the individuals emotional, social, and physical needs, helping them to participate in daily activities, develop life skills, and build meaningful relationships. Key Responsibilities: Provide support to adults in their daily lives, both in their own homes and in community settings. Assist with personal care, health and safety, and maintaining a clean living environment. Encourage and promote independence, choice, and control for the individuals in your care. Support individuals to access activities, education, and employment opportunities, ensuring a fulfilling and active lifestyle. Help with the development and implementation of care plans, reviewing progress and making necessary adjustments. Build strong, supportive relationships with individuals, families, and other professionals. Work as part of a team to ensure a high standard of care and support is maintained at all times.
