This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing family run Print and Promotional Merchandising company based in Barnet, North London. Established for over 20 years and having built a diverse client portfolio from small independent businesses to some of the biggest UK brands, the company is looking to grow their in-house team who will be working with new and existing clients, finding the best solutions for their promotional merchandise and printing requirements.
The Role
* Manage a portfolio of accounts
* Generate and follow up quotations, own the client experience end to end from taking the client requirements, creating a solution for them, quoting to create the solution, all the way to delivery to the end client.
* Generate new business through inbound lead follow-up and emails from new and existing clients.
* Develop genuine and positive relationships with clients.
* Maintain and expand the client CRM.
* Creating product presentations for clients.
* Recognise areas for growth and bring innovative ideas to the table.
* Be a problem solver and solution provider to the clients and suppliers, being able to think outside of the normal scope for them.
* Able to resolve any issues with orders in a professional and timely manner.
* Up-selling, cross-selling and ensuring that clients are receiving the best possible service.
* Input into client demand planning and forecasting for clients.
* Input into the company's own brand and marketing strategy.
* Assist with internal stock management.
Skills Required and Experience
* Passionate about promotional merchandise and adding value to clients.
* Experience as a Sales Manager.
* Organised and methodical.
* Have an eye for detail, can scrutinise artwork and proofread copy.
* Able to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently.
* Clear communicator, written and verbally.
* Enjoy working in a fast paced, close knit team environment.
* Have a creative side and enjoy delivering a client brief above expectations
* Able to follow and input into existing processes and improve them.
* Creative problem solver able to think outside the box turning problems into opportunities.
* Experience in the print industry with an understanding of print processes preferred.
* Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
