Hindsight/Hat Trick Productions are seeking to recruit an experienced Production Manager to lead their team in Belfast through a further series of Mastermind and Celebrity Mastermind.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Production Manager who thrives in the fast-moving environment of high-volume, high-end studio entertainment shows. Applicants should have experience of multi camera, studio formatted quiz shows and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge and strong skills in the following:
1. Experience of appointing production personnel and in hiring technical and craft crew for studio and when on location.
2. Experience of issuing and negotiating crew, talent and supplier contracts.
3. Experience in managing the welfare of a large team.
4. Experience in the operational activities required to run a production office.
5. Good working knowledge of production policies.
6. Experience in contributor welfare practices and contributor risk assessments.
7. Experience in creating H&S risk assessments required for an office, on location and when in studio.
8. Knowledge of production insurance with the welfare and health and safety of all cast and crew in mind.
9. Management of all production schedules from start to finish including staffing, studio, location, post-production and delivery schedules.
10. Experience of completing broadcaster progress reports, budget cost reports and in managing and forecasting a series budget to delivery.
11. Knowledge in processing invoices, expenses, floats and per diems.
12. Ability to negotiate and secure competitive rates with hotels and suppliers.
13. Knowledge of funding opportunities for personnel and for training and advancement of a diverse team.
14. Experience with post facilities and in overseeing multiple shows through the various stages of post-production.
15. Good working knowledge of archive and music clearance.
16. Good working knowledge of production sustainability and Albert reporting.
17. Experience of completing end of production reports and all associated delivery paperwork required by the broadcaster and associated funders.

The role is based in Belfast starting in January 2025 and will run until November 2025.
