Job summary We are a Nursing team who work alongside different agencies and professionals, within the Centralised Place of Safety, in support to patients who may need a place where they can be safely supported when there is a risk to themselves or others within the Community. We are a very diverse and committed team, who work compassionately, and in a dedicated way to support people when they have been identified as being at risk or in crisis and requiring a Mental Health Act Assessment to understand whether each person may need further support in Hospital or can be supported within the Community. We consistently assist multi-disciplinary team members in the delivery of care and treatment to people using services. The care provided will encompass social, physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual needs of the individuals. Healthcare Assistants will also responsible for undertaking practical procedures under the supervision of trained nursing staff and will be supported to enhance and develop their skills clinically.
