Summary of Role
You will deliver main contract fire sprinkler projects on time, to budget and in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements. Project values can range from £100k to £5m across a range of different sectors e.g. retail, manufacturing, warehousing, commercial.
What you will be doing
1. Leading and initiation/handover meetings with all stakeholders including Sales, Design, QS.
2. Production and maintenance of project programme.
3. Attendance at internal project Cost To Complete (CTC) meetings.
4. Completion and submission to relevant stakeholders of all end-of-project documentation e.g. O&M, As-Fitted Drawings, Certification.
5. Ensuring installers are adequately briefed, are competent & qualified to fulfil all project requirements.
6. Supporting and managing of on-site resources ensuring all issues are resolved and the programme maintained.
7. Completion & submission of project Quality Plans (as required).
8. Participating with internal & third party audits.
9. Identifying, recording & ensuring the resolution of any supplier generated non-conformities.
10. Management of material and labour costs.
11. Identification and invoicing of variations to contract & raising of final accounts.
12. Undertaking & recording on-site inspections in accordance with EHS001 scheduled frequency.
13. Facilitating on-site toolbox talks & completion of all H&S related documentation Inc. RAMs, attendance sheets etc.
What we will need from you
1. Working knowledge of BS EN 12845 & LPS1048 Schemes (essential).
2. Working knowledge of engineering drawings (essential).
3. LPCB Testing & Commissioning Module 2 Competent (highly desirable).
4. LPCB Site Inspection Module 1 Competent (highly desirable).
5. Familiarity with the principles of Prince 2 project management methodologies (essential).
6. You will have experience in managing complex projects with budgets up to £5m (essential).
7. Practiced at management of on-site labour & resources (essential).
8. Valid SMSTS & CSCS Card Holder (essential).
9. Knowledge of CDM Management Principles (essential).
10. Extensive knowledge of production of project documentation eg. RAMs, Quality Plans, Project Plans, Cost Sheets (CTC), Trackers (essential).
