Socode are proud to represent a long-standing client, a global automotive company providing hardware and engineering services. We are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their growing engineering team.
The desired Electronics Hardware Engineer will have the following experience:
Extensive experience in electronic hardware design, particularly in embedded systems.
Strong background in automotive-grade circuit design, including one or more of the following:
H-bridges, solenoid, motor, and inductive load interfaces.
High and low-side MOSFET switches, current sensing, and measurement.
Communications interfaces such as SPI, I2C, CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
Hands-on experience with tools like Altium for schematic capture, SPICE for circuit simulation, and lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generators.
Demonstrated ability to design for manufacture, reliability, and compliance with automotive standards, including EMC and environmental testing.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.What will they be doing?
Lead the architectural development of electronic systems to meet industry standards.
Design, analyse, and document circuits, including power supplies, analog/digital interfaces, and microcontrollers.
Debug, verify, and validate designs through rigorous testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in both nationally and internationally.
Create comprehensive documentation to support the long-term maintenance of designs.
