Job Description
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner for a leading multi-site, Bristol based business.
The role
The role will support the Head of People with delivering a professional, value-added Business Partner service, in a proactive and timely manner. Working with your designated Business Units and relevant Business Unit leaders, you will be part of an innovative and responsive People Team whose aim is to provide a pragmatic and enabling service to stakeholders and build and develop relationships with managers and staff at all levels.
Duties will include
1. Providing advice and guidance to appropriate stakeholders on investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, appeals, and TUPE consultations.
2. Leading on people-specific projects.
3. Being a point of contact for all Occupational Health and people-related services.
4. Supporting with employee-related issues.
5. Supporting sensitive or high-profile HR issues, balancing operational need alongside employment legislation and associated risks.
6. Supporting the Head of People in the delivery of the organisation’s development strategy including needs analysis, development plans, and targeted interventions.
7. Taking ownership of HR targets and reporting, presenting fact and insight in an engaging and compelling way to lead and influence changes and facilitate a proactive approach to minimising the volume and risk of cases.
8. Supporting with recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
The person
1. Experience partnering with Senior Management teams in a generalist HR role.
2. Strong track record for building strong professional relationships and credibility across all levels of the organisation.
3. Experience of applying expert employment legislation and best practice HR in a way that is accessible to stakeholders and non-HR colleagues.
4. Ability to present information to build senior stakeholder engagement around a range of HR initiatives.
5. A “can-do”, outcome-focused attitude and approach, resourceful and works to make things happen taking others along with them.
6. A relentless drive to improve performance and deliver outstanding results through new innovative and more effective ways of working.

Salary
£44,000 to £48,000 plus excellent benefits.
Location
South Gloucestershire – multi-site.
