About the role
This is a good time to join the service following Oxfordshire’s recent inspection the Leaving Care separate judgment determined that ‘The Experience and progress of care leavers is GOOD'. We continue to be committed to work across all care leavers to improve outcomes.
The role involves supervision of Personal Advisers who support young people with a variety of needs including going through the asylum process.
You will support Personal Advisers to achieve the key performance indicators for care leavers and lead on areas of the Service Development Plan.
A key aspect of this role is to work in partnership with internal and external agencies.
Working with:
Children We Care for teams - joint working of Personal Advisers and Social workers from age 16, robust transition planning, ensuring young people’s independent skills are appropriately assessed, supporting preparation and readiness for independence.
Adult Safeguarding- Collaborative working with Adult Servicesto ensure we safeguard our Care Experienced young adults where risks are identified.
