As a Tutor in South East England, Oxfordshire, Wantage, you will be responsible for providing educational support to students. Your primary focus will be on delivering tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of each student, with a particular emphasis on supporting those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning styles of students
2. Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
3. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
4. Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop individualised learning plans
Minimum Requirements:
1. Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children
2. Demonstrated experience in supporting students with SEN
3. Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE or equivalent)
4. Additional training in SEN support
Skills:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
2. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
3. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
This is a temporary position with part-time hours, offering flexibility in scheduling. You will work closely with students.
