Description
* Assist in the day-to-day administration of all commercial and customer-related interactions concerning
* The post sits within a team whose principal purpose is to ensure all related business activities are executed effectively;
* Invoices from sales are calculated and billed expediently, accurately, and all other customer transactions are provided to a consistently high quality.
* The role's responsibilities include being a point of contact for new and existing customers enquiring about opening and closing accounts, meter readings, and all aspects of the role
* The role will also entail supporting company processes, identifying areas for improvement, designing and implementing process changes, and monitoring the results to ensure that the new processes are successful.
* This role combines both customer-facing activities and the use of back-office systems.
* As a result, the role demands high standards of customer service combined with good levels of numeracy and accuracy when interpreting information provided by metering and billing systems
Profile
* Experience within Billing/Credit Control experience
* Good improvements to processes and a clear demonstration of this
* Capable of working to a consistently high standard in a customer-facing role
* Good communication and inter-personal skills including the ability to clearly explain complex matters to customers
* The ability to act calmly and effectively in potentially confrontational situations
* May be working towards an accountancy degree
