Job Description: UK QA and Tender Administrator
Company Overview:
Our client is a leading provider of high-quality dental equipment and supplies. We are seeking a detail-oriented and competent individual to join their team as a UK QA and Tender Administrator.
Position Summary:
The UK QA and Tender Administrator will be responsible for supporting quality assurance processes and tender activities. This role combines regulatory compliance with administrative duties, ensuring their products meet necessary standards and regulations while also assisting with the tender process for medical equipment.
Quality Assurance Responsibilities:
* Assist in maintaining the QMS in compliance with ISO 13485:2016 standards
* Support day-to-day quality assurance activities for medical devices
* Help manage UKCA and MHRA device registration processes
* Maintain and update quality and regulatory documentation
* Assist in internal audit preparations and follow-up actions
* Support the management of customer complaints and adverse incident reporting
* Help coordinate with internal teams to maintain quality standards
* Assist in document control processes and preparation of quality-related reports
Tender Management Responsibilities:
* Assist in identifying potential tender opportunities in the dental equipment sector
* Help maintain a database of upcoming, ongoing, and past tenders
* Support the preparation and compilation of tender documentation
* Assist in gathering necessary information from various departments for tender submissions
* Help track tender submission deadlines and create reminders for the team
* Support the maintenance of a library of frequently used tender documents and templates
* Assist in preparing standard responses for common tender questions
* Help coordinate the internal review and approval process for tender submissions

* Location: Hybrid role with on-site presence required in Stevenage, UK
* Occasional travel may be required

Salary and Benefits:

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Business Administration) or equivalent experience
* 2-4 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a quality-related field or with exposure to tender processes
* Basic understanding of ISO 13485:2016 and UK medical device regulations
* Familiarity with quality management systems and public sector procurement processes in the UK
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
