A Scottish newspaper is looking for a Head of Digital to drive the digital strategy for the newspaper’s editorial outputs, using your digital expertise to help drive audience, video, website and product engagement. This is a senior leadership position within the editorial team, where everyone is committed to seriously good, original journalism; the type of work that makes a difference. As well as solid newsroom experience on a fast-paced national platform, you will have the digital expertise and head full of ideas to come up with ways of doing things differently that will drive engagement. You’ll have your finger on the pulse about Scottish personalities, showbiz, sport and politics. You’ll have experience of leading high performance teams, in depth knowledge of SEO, social media and digital news delivery.
